As it was stated in the tweet of Ethereum developer Joey Zhou, Venezuela’s oil-backed cryptocurrency petro (PTR) is considered to be a clone of dash (EXANTE: DASH.EXANTE) as it has similar mining algorithm and the same features. Even more interesting, is that the part of petro white paper is copied from the same document of dash.
As it was reported earlier, President Nicolas Maduro announced that the official website for buying Venezuelan government cryptocurrency Petro is officially launched.
