Spain developer has built first ever vending machine based on Lightning Network.
A hardware hacker from Spain, Ricardo Reis created a hand-built Coca-Cola vending machine that operates on the lightning network. It provides users with the opportunity to buy a glass of coke for bitcoins.
The vending machine is working on lightening network. It automatically receives and authorizes the Bitcoin payments and then dispensing a glass of cola in return. In order to pay a user has to scan a QR code placed on the screen of the vending machine.
