Startup from Switzerland plans to open cryptocurrency bank
According to Reuters report, Switzerland company SEBA Crypto AG has raised more than $100 million to establish a bank that is going to offer cryptocurrency-related services to companies and investors while extending traditional banking services to firms in the new industry.
It was also stated, that now startup has to wait for a banking and securities dealer license that will allow managing cryptocurrency trading and investments for banks and qualified investors.
SEBA Crypto AG was founded in 2018 by former UBS managers Guido Buehler and Andreas Amschwand. The company is going to operate in Switzerland - the country that is considered to be favorable for startups and new technologies like blockchain.
