The wealthiest European country Luxemburg establishes the law for cryptocurrency transactions.

According to the Luxembourg Times, country's finance minister, Pierre Gramegna claimed that the country will create a national legal framework for the use of blockchain technology in financial transactions.

The government representative told the Luxembourg Times that the government has successfully tabled a bill centered around blockchain, or distributed ledger technology. The main aim of the document is to provide investors and companies with an additional layer of legal certainty.
