One of the biggest tech companies in China launches services on blockchain.
Chinese tech giant Baidu that specializes in web services and provides country's most widely used search engine has released the Baidu Blockchain White Paper V1.0 devoted to the development of “XuperChain” network system.
The document that was prepared by Baidu Blockchain Lab describes the development and structure of applications based on the XuperChain network: Totem, Degree Universe, Baidu Association, Treasure Chest, Encyclopedia Online, and Hubert.
According to the white paper, XuperChain is a stereo network that supports parallel sidechains. The system is considered to be more efficient than a traditional blockchain network and requires fewer hardware resources.
