Dash released “Dash Text” application that allows transferring tokens without an access to the internet. The first stage of testing of the service will be held in Venezuela due to the popularity of given cryptocurrency in this country.
The principle of operation is described in the company’s video blog and is similar to the process of SMS voting. Thus, the service requires sending by SMS a five digits shortcode.
Lorenzo Rey - co-founder of the Dash Text said that he was inspired by the fact that majority of the people all around the world do not have regular access to the appropriate mobile devices to use Dash.
