Global financial training firm Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program will add questions regarding cryptocurrencies and blockchain to their examinations starting from 2019.
Among other topics that will also likely be added to the curriculum are fintech subjects, such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, machine learning and ultimately automated trading. According to CFA representatives, over time, the course will be supplemented with more in-depth questions about the intersection of the cryptocurrency with the current economy.
Candidate must successfully pass the examinations which is comprised of three levels in order to obtain a CFA diploma. Questions about cryptocurrencies and blockchain will be in exams for students of the first and second levels.
Why it is important
- Representatives of the CFA are confident that the crypto industry is not a temporary phenomenon as its developing faster than most other industries.
- CFA examinations are in demand all over the world. In June, more than 227,000 people from 91 countries registered for the exams.
