Project Superblocks.com, an all encompassing platform needed to build powerful decentralized applications (DApps), is complete. This is a story about how to quit your job, move to the forest, live in a tent, and write code.
The platform Superblocks is a tool to help code, build, test, and deploy smart contracts and decentralized applications. “Don’t waste precious time setting up your development environment. Simply open Superblocks Studio in your browser and start coding,” the website says.
Thomas Backlund is developer of the project. The computer coder was very popular on the internet when five years ago he became homeless by choice. He quit his job, sold his assets, and started to live off a trail called Sörmlandsleden.
“I'm a developer. I moved to a tent in the forest to be able to code on my startup project full time. Not only does that give me the time to do this, but it also gives me peace of mind. I change my location about two times per week,” – he said a few years ago.
In addition, this decision brought top results. Superblocks has received 1 million USD in seed funding from investor Cryptowell. The company representative thinks that startup can “become the global ‘WordPress’ for decentralized apps.”
Thomas Backlund is sure, that Superblocks Studio is just a first step:
“Soon, our users will be able to connect their dApps to cloud services, allowing access to data storage, analytics and artificial intelligence that currently doesn’t work on the blockchain. We hope people will build decentralized versions of YouTube, Uber and maybe even entire nations on our platform.”
The current iteration of Superblocks Studio is functional for Ethereum, as the company has plans to further develop the product to work with several blockchains.
Anyway, the project is now completed by anyone who wants to start building DApps can enter Superblocks Studio.
