CoinMarketCap, a major cryptocurrency price tracker, has removed the link to Bitcoin.com from its BTC page. According to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, the link to Bitcoin.com was present on the page up until recently.
In late April, a group of BTC supporters launched a fundraising campaign for a potential trial against Bitcoin.com, accusing the site of providing users with intentionally wrong information and misleading them into buying BCH (EXANTE: Bitcoin.Cash) instead of BTC (EXANTE: Bitcoin) . The fundraiser eventually failed to gather the targeted amount, with all donations being refunded.
Roger Ver, the Bitcoin.com CEO, still advertises BCH as a «better currency» and «better store of value» than BCH.

CoinMarketCap has refrained from commenting such decision. The likely reason for this is Bitcoin.com promoting Bitcoin Cash (BCH), masking it as BTC.
Roger Ver was an early Bitcoin investor, later changing his preference to altcoins. One of his earlier comments labelled Bitcoin Cash as the “true” Bitcoin.
