Legendary football star Luís Figo has signed on to serve as brand ambassador for Stryking Entertainment, whose platform, Football-Stars, seeks to tokenize fantasy sports, Stryking said in a blog post.
Ballon d’Or winner and former FIFA World Footballer of the Year, Luís Figo will support Stryking with his football business network and actively engage with Football-Stars’ users in in-game challenges and other activities.
“As passionate football fans ourselves, the partnership with Luís Figo is not just a dream come true; it’s a testament to how we’ve grown from a small team of football and tech enthusiasts to planning the introduction of our own crypto token STRYKZ”, said Dirk Weyel, Founder and CEO of Stryking.
Luís Figo, Ballon d’Or winner and UEFA ambassador, will support Stryking in their efforts to promote Football-Stars and find more partners to cooperate within the football industry.
“Football becomes more and more data driven with detailed statistics about all aspects of the game — this is what Stryking’s platform utilizes to create a compelling fan experience,” Figo stated.
“I am happy to support the passionate people at Stryking and spread the word about their platform that allows fans to engage with the teams and players they are backing,” he added.
With Figo’s help, the company plans to distribute its Ethereum (TIKER: ETH/USD.BITFINEX)-based STRYKZ token through an ICO, the details of which have not yet been released.
While the private pre-sale with special conditions for early contributors has already started, the official STRYKZ Token Sale Event will launch within the next months.
