The price of Bitcoin (Bitcoin) has surged above $8,000 on Frinday. The largest and most popular cryptocurrency has gained 17,68% over the past 24 hour hours and is currently trading at roughly $8,077, according to Insider.pro’s Bitcoin chart.
The rise has quickly spread to other cryptocurrencies, as well.
Ethereum (ETH/USD) has posted its own 21,18% gain to reach $511,35.
Ripple (XRP/USD) is 26,03% up to $0,643471. Bitcoin Cash (Bitcoin.Cash) and Litecoin (LTC/USD) have seen a 14,34% and 13,82% rise respectively.
EOS, which ousted Litecoin as the fifth largest cryptocurrency on Thursday, has slipped back to sixth on Friday.
