Bitcoin has now gained 10.71% over the past 24 hours and is trading at roughly at $7,650, according to our Bitcoin chart.
The rise has quickly spread to other cryptocurrencies, as well.
Ethereum (ETH/USD) is posting its own 11% gain, and currently costs $467. Ripple (XRP/USD) is 13.22% up to reach $0.563708.
Bitcoin Cash (EXANTE: Bitcoin.Cash) and Litecoin (LTC/USD) have seen a 8,69% and 6,06% rise respectively.
EOS, which ousted Litecoin as the fifth largest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization, has gained 23.92% overt he past 24 hours and currently cost $8.79.
