McFly.aero launched its initial coin offering to build a network of flying cars for mass use as air taxis in cities. The token sale started on the 5th of April 2018.
McFly.area is a global project trying to build city aero taxi infrastructure powered by blockchain and using tokens for all transactions between users and vehicle operators.
The McFly.aero was founded less than a year ago. The technology consortium includes ten companies: three designers of aerial vehicles applicable for air taxi, two blockchain protocol developers, batteries and chargersing points manufacturer among other.
The company states that initial development of this ambitious project is currently in progress in 17 countries around the world, including Australia, Belarus, Canada, Egypt, Russia, and the USA.
The main idea of the projects is to pay for their flying taxis by tokens - one token per minute. The company claims that thank to its technology, the token will contain flight parameters and records of maintenance and aircraft will be restricted for flights after a fixed flight-time period for safety reasons.
