Antivirus pioneer John McAfee revealed that he charges $105,000 for each tweet he sends out promoting digital coins or initial coin offerings (ICO).
McAfee tweeted to his 811,000 followers, urging to visit The McAfee Crypto Team website to learn how his promotional tweets work.
We finally wrote down how our promotional tweets work. It's self aggrandizing and ego stroking for us, however, if you're planning an ICO, trying to boost a coin or want to shine a light on your latest project, you should overlook our swollen egos and see:https://t.co/O6TBWrxDzm

“Individual tweets, whether created in Mr. McAfee’s voice or by the company whose products we are promoting, cost $105,000 per tweet,” the McAfee Crypto Team stated.
“Unless there are special circumstances we will do no more than seven tweets per promotion,” it added.
The team said John McAfee’s tweets are by far the most influential in the field of cryptocurrency. Citing poll data, the website claims:
“259,000 of McAfee’s Twitter followers “have more than 50% of their total assets in cryptocurrencies,” and that 224,000 of his followers represent, “at a minimum, $4.48 billion in crypto investment.” The site claims that the numbers are arrived at through “statistically valid percentages.”
The team said they turn down over 90% of all companies wanting to buy our services and added that only products and services that Mr. McAfee truly believes in will be promoted.
