Trading software provider Trading Technologies International Inc (TT) has teamed up with crypto-currency exchange operator Coinbase, Reuters reported.
Beginning March 2018, the partnership will give institutional traders direct market access to both Bitcoin (TIKER: BTC.EXANTE) and Bitcoin future.
Rick Lane, CEO of TT, commented, “We are pleased to partner with Coinbase, the leading digital asset exchange, so that cryptocurrency traders of all styles are able to leverage our robust and powerful suite of trading tools.”
Furthermore, he said, they have begun collaborating to deliver enhanced and asset-class-specific functionality on the TT platform for cryptocurrency trading.
“This is the first time hundreds, if not thousands of institutional clients will have the ability to trade the crypto spot market side by side with 45 other markets,” said Adam White, general manager of Coinbase’s Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX).
Trading Technologies, known as TT, is connected to 45 markets worldwide, including CME Group and Cboe Global Markets Inc, which both introduced Bitcoin futures trading in December.
TT also counts Goldman Sachs Group Inc, JPMorgan Chase and Co (TIKER: JPM.NYSE), and most other Wall Street banks as clients, as well as many Chicago- and London-based proprietary trading firms.
