DMM Group, the Japanese internet giant famous for its forex trading services, has launched a cryptocurrency exchange supporting 7 cryptocurrencies and 14 trading pairs, Bitcoin.com reported.

DMM Bitcoin has a potential customer base of 27 mln existing DMM clients in addition to outside interest. Currently on offer are Bitcoin (TIKER: BTC.EXANTE), Ethereum (TIKER: ETH/USD.BITFINEX), Litecoin (TIKER: LTC/USD.BITFINEX), NEM, Ripple, Ethereum Classic (TIKER: ETC/USD.BITFINEX) and Bitcoin Cash (TIKER: BCH.EXANTE).

The company promises promotional benefits to early sign-ups, including a 1,000 yen (~$US9) account credit and select fee-free operations.

According to DMM’s announcement, the exchange is using a trading platform provided by Simplex Inc. called “Simplex Cryptocurrency.” The platform offers trading tools for general investors, business management systems, and a dealing system.
