Markets climbed as high as $12,032.00, according to CoinMarketCap’s Bitcoin Index. This figure surpasses the previous all-time high of $11,858 set on December 03, 2017.
The total market capitalization has reached $354 billions, according to the CoinMarketCap.
The pace of progress comes as the prospect of a Wall Street influx via regulated Bitcoin futures comes true December 10 and 18 as CBOE and CME Group enter the market.
The cryptocurrency markets advance is fueled by the impending launch of regulated bitcoin futures contracts on Sunday.
