Bitcoin (EXANTE: Bitcoin) traded at an all-time high of $11,155.20 at around 9:00 a.m. ET less than 24 hours after it crossed $10,000 milestone, CNBC reported.
It's been an exponential ascent from 6 cents seven years ago and less than $1,000 at the start of this year.
Much of that incredible gain had come in just the 12 hours after the cryptocurrency smashed through the $10,000 mark that many analysts had been hyping for months.
Not only Bitcoin but the overall crypto markets have reached to record high valuations with a total cap of above $325 billion.
Former Fortress hedge fund manager Michael Novogratz said Tuesday that Bitcoin could be at $40,000 at the end of 2018.
