Litecoin (LTC/USD) reached an all-time high today, breaking through the previous record set in September, Forbes reported.
The digital currency rose to as much as $93.29, according to CoinMarketCap. At this level, Litecoin's price has climbed more than 2,050% year-to-date (YTD).
The trading of Litecoin has reached almost $381 mln in a 24-hour period across all trading exchanges.
The majority of the Litecoin trading volume was dominated by the exchanges GDAX and Bitfinex, outperforming cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb.
Bitcoin (EXANTE: Bitcoin) and Ethereum (ETH/USD) also posted record increase in prices. Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $9,694 Sunday evening and surged past $9750 on Monday morning. Ethereum reached an all-time high of $485 Sunday evening, shy of the much-anticipated $500 mark.
The total market cap of the digital assets rose to as much as $305.4 billion Sunday, CoinMarketCap data shows.
