10,000 ETH (ETC/USD) were sent back from the hacker’s address to one of CoinDash’s ETH accounts, the CoinDash team said in a statement, NewsBTC reported.

The company has notified the Counter Cyber Terrorist Unit in Israel, which is expected to step up investigation efforts that had been accelerated since a similar hack earlier this month.

This is the second occurrence of its kind as the hacker had sent 488 ETH to CoinDash’s official ShapeShift account only a few days back — on September 12, 2017.

The total recovered crypto assets after the two recoveries now amount to 2.94 million in USD at the press time.

CoinDash pledges to keep tracking and monitoring the hacker’s Ethereum address for any suspicious activity and promises to issue a formal update later this week.

The hack come a week after the company reported the transfer of 488 ETH from the hacker’s Ethereum account to Shapeshift via several proxy accounts.
