Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Reaches an All-time High

According to experts at analytics firm Glassnode, the difficulty of mining Bitcoin has risen by 4.68% as a result of the latest recalculation, standing at a new all-time high at around 39.35T.

According to the company, the network's 7-day smoothed moving average 7-day hashrate is close to 291 EH/s.

The hash price of 0.075 per TH/s per day remains near three-month highs.

Last January 20, a lone miner with a hashrate of just 10 TH/s was able to mine a Bitcoin block.

The network hashrate at that time was 273.2 EH/s (smoothed by a seven-day moving average), so the miner's share of the indicator was only 0.000000036%.
