True Names, operator of the distributed domain name system Ethereum Name Service (ENS), has just regained control of the eth.link domain name after receiving a preliminary injunction from an Arizona court.
ENS has reported in a tweet:
"We're delighted to report that eth.link is now back online! Our injunction was successful and the name has been returned to us."
The company had previously filed a lawsuit against registrar GoDaddy.

According to it, the defendant wrongly considered the eth.link domain registered by True Names to be expired and then transferred it to Dynadot's registry. Dynadot subsequently sold it through an auction to DeFi project Manifold Finance for $851,919.
According to ENS founder Nick Johnson, the company is satisfied with the outcome. The court order directs GoDaddy to "immediately transfer ownership of the domain to True Names" before the case is resolved.
