Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has just launched the Desire 22 Pro, a smartphone compatible with the metaverse and NFTs.

According to the company, the device is a mid-range model with a 6.6-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor.

The phone is compatible with the Vivese ecosystem and HTC VR products, such as the Vive Flow headset. The smartphone acts as a controller for the glasses.

The Desire 22 Pro also allows users to manage digital assets, including NFTs, through the Vive Wallet app. Another service, Vive Avatar, allows virtual avatars to be created.

The device is equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera with 13 megapixels and an additional 5 megapixels. The selfie camera has a 32MP sensor.

The Desire 22 Pro has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and runs Android 12 operating system.

The privacy of the device is supported by a fingerprint scanner installed on the side. The casing is protected against water and dust to IP67 standard.
