Cloudflare's Global Outage Affects Cryptocurrency Exchanges

Network service provider Cloudflare yesterday warned of a global disruption to its services that resulted in crypto exchanges experiencing technical problems.

The US-based company offers CDN services, DDoS protection, secure resource access and DNS servers.

Cryptocurrency derivatives exchange FTX has warned that most users have had difficulty accessing its site.

Meanwhile, Bitfinex's CTO, Paolo Ardoino, has also confirmed that problems with Internet services have affected the site, like many other online platforms.

According to Coinbase, the platform has had problems connecting to the retail and institutional marketplace network. The exchange has warned:

"This may cause failed trades, delayed transactions, and unexpected behavior on the webpage and mobile apps."

OKX CEO Jay Hao has informed users that the inability to visit the exchange's website is likely due to Cloudflare's issues.

According to Cloudflare, the problem has now been fixed.
