Popular NFT marketplace OpenSea has reported that during the first half of the year, it has created several important technical systems that help the team promote authentic content and reduce fraudulent content.
Among the solutions implemented, the company has highlighted a new verification mechanism that more clearly identifies authentic accounts, a copy protection tool with image recognition technology for NFT scanning and duplicate detection, and an improved search system that has optimized the delivery of authentic content to users.

The marketplace has made other enhancements to its products, including in-product reporting, an account engagement tool, proactive account suspensions and more.
OpenSea has also expanded its user support and security team to 200 people.
OpenSea reported in February that more than 80% of NFTs created with the free publishing option were plagiarism, forgery or spam.
