Arcane Research analysts have previously said the LN ecosystem is growing faster than its capacity. The latter indicator grew by 700% between April and September 2021.
The firm's analysts believe the rapid development of the ecosystem is due to the legalization of Bitcoin in El Salvador. As a result, since September last year, companies operating in the country must accept payments with the national digital wallet Chivo, which is compatible with the Lightning Network.
