Robinhood Launches Beta Version of its Crypto Wallet

Online broker Robinhood has just launched the beta program of its crypto wallet for 1,000 customers selected from a waiting list.

By March, the number of participants is expected to expand to 10,000 users. The company expects testers to help validate the core functionality of the app and provide feedback to create the final version of the product. According to the announcement:

"Over the duration of the Beta program, we will be working to finalize the send and receive flows and add delightful QR scanning experiences, improved transaction history, and block explorer support so you can see your transactions on-chain."

Test participants have a withdrawal limit of $2,999 per day to external wallets with a limit of 10 transactions. Two-factor authentication is required.

Robinhood co-founder and CEO Vlad Tenev stated in March 202 the platform intended to add wallet functionality soon.
