Blockchain.com, a cryptocurrency custodian & exchange platform, said it plans to launch a marketplace of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Users can sign up to a waitlist for early access to the feature, Thianh Lu, Vice President of Design Development at Blockchain.com, said in a blog announcement. Lu says users will be able to buy, sell, and store NFTs right inside their wallets.

"Over the last ten years, we have helped tens of millions of people access crypto by providing an easy way to buy, sell, swap, store, and earn crypto. Now we want to make it easy for people to access the exciting, new NFT market," Lu added.
Lu notes the company decided to launch the new service as accessing the NFT market is "far too complex and unintuitive." In addition to Blockchain.com, other exchanges like Coinbase, FTX also launched their marketplaces.
The move comes shortly after Blockchain.com acquired SeSocio, an Argentinian cryptocurrency investment firm. While the price of the deal remains unclear, Blockchain.com says this is the "largest acquisition to date."
