TV host and Heisenberg Capital founder Max Keiser has thrown his support behind SEC chief Gary Gensler's stance that all cryptos with the exception of Bitcoin, are securities.
He has written:
"Gary’s right. Everything not Bitcoin is a security (including ETH & XRP). Bitcoin is money, everything else is a security."

Keiser has recalled El Salvador recognized BTC as a legal means of payment in September 2021. According to his Twitter profile, he moved to the country in November of that year.
The investor has added:
"We’re Bitcoin Country and we’re thriving. I invite GaryGensler to El Salvador to come and see how we became the leading BTC country in the world."
He has also called Ripple "scammers" whose business model is based on the sale of unregistered securities. In the company's litigation with the SEC, Keiser supported the regulator.
