The share price of the US giant Apple recorded a 40% increase over the past year. During the same period, the market's largest crypto by market capitalization soared 38%, Bloomberg analysts have reported.
On the first trading day of 2022, the shares of the iPhone maker rose nearly 3% to $182.86, which has resulted in Apple becoming the first company in the world with a capitalization of more than $3 trillion.
Later, Apple's share price fell below $182 and its market value declined to $2.986 trillion.

As for Bitcoin, its current capitalization amounts to $878 billion, according to CoinGecko.
The price of the crypto created by Satoshi Nakamoto was more volatile last year compared to Apple shares.
The Bitcoin price decline exceeded 50% between April and July. The correction relative to the all-time high reached in November amounted to 31%. In comparison, Apple's share price fell by approximately 19% at the beginning of the year.
