Michael Saylor, the CEO of MicroStrategy, has revealed during an interview with The Information how much money he has personally invested in Bitcoin. According to Saylor, he owns about 17,732 BTC. At the current exchange rate, his investment is worth around $858 million. The company CEO himself has never sold his cryptocurrencies and, in general, does not consider it advisable to sell Bitcoins at all.

This, according to Saylor, is due to the fact that the price of Bitcoin will eventually rise to $6 million, which is more than 12,000% higher than the current price. However, the MicroStrategy CEO has not specified when he expects the crypto to reach this level.

At the moment, MicroStrategy's total BTC holdings are up to 122,478 BTC (about $6 billion). The company last bought Bitcoin in early December, when it acquired 1,434 BTC for $82 million.

MicroStrategy has previously been known to allow the use of its Bitcoins for passive gains through cryptocurrency companies. For example, Saylor has indicated the company could assign the cryptocurrency to a "reputable company" in trust.
