In the U.S. only 57% of the adult population can boast of being financially literate. At the same time in Canada, there are more knowledgeable people among the citizens, as 68% of Canadians understand finance according to the study.
The best indicators of financial literacy are shown by the Scandinavian countries, in particular, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark as more than 71% of the population in all three countries understand the basic financial concepts.
