Chart of the day: Distribution of wealth around the world in 2018
According to the Global Wealth Report, in which Credit Suisse breaks down global wealth and analyzes the global outlook, the world wealth increased by $14 trillion last year, with China occupying second place behind only the United States.


The chart illustrates the geographical imbalance in the distribution of household wealth. North America and Europe together account for 60% of the total wealth of households, but they only contain 17% of the global adult population.
