More and more countries are legalizing bitcoin. As a result, there are many companies that accept cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Recently, Forbes has published a ranking list of cities where the largest number of such enterprises are located.
The leader of the rating was quite surprising — Prague. It managed to outrun such giants as New York and London. In the capital of the Czech Republic, сryptocurrency is accepted in many shops and restaurants, and bitcoin-ATMs are installed even in the metro stations. The rest of the cities in this list also boast a large number of companies that take bitcoins and altcoins. However, recently Chainalysis experts said that bitcoin has become increasingly used as a means of payment for goods and services compared with last year. In May 2018, this indicator fell to $60 million, although last September it exceeded $411 million.
