The drop in the bitcoin price and bear market did not affect crypto funds development. The number of companies that invest in digital currencies has increased up to 312 since the beginning of 2018. This is a record level in the entire history according to a study conducted by the British analytical company Autonomous Next.
Since the beginning of the year, the number of funds has increased by 24% (in January there were 251 crypto funds). Compared to 2016, this indicator increased by 457%.
All 312 cryptocurrency funds are managing assets ranging from $7.5 to 10 billion. But when counting trust investments and bitcoin futures, figures grow by around $3 billion.
