The Lightning Network is developing at a speed of light since its launch in January.
On June 19, the number of Lightning channels within the bitcoin network has for the first time exceeded 10,000. Also the amount of funds transferred through the channels has increased by 228%, reaching 100 bitcoins on July 21.
