A New Zealand investor (kohop91) shared the results of his personal financial experiment on Reddit. In April, he invested $200 NZD in each of the world’s top-50 cryptocurrencies. A month later, the value of his portfolio shrank to $7,325.
During the first month of the experiment, Bitcoin (Bitcoin: BITCOIN), Ripple (BITFINEX: XRP/USD), Bitcoin Cash (EXANTE: BCH.EXANTE) and other major cryptocurrencies tanked. Only four out of of the fifty managed to show growth: Zilliqa (+30.6%), 0x (+28.4%), Aeternity (+28.5%) and Ontology (+24.9%).
