The former Chairman of Google’s Board of Directors and billionaire Eric Schmidt is a longtime supporter of the idea of bitcoin and blockchain. During an interview with economist Tyler Coven at an event organized by Village Global and held in San Francisco, he said that ethereum has great potential and can become a “powerful platform”.

Alibaba’s Treasure Will Be Cloud Tech
Twenty years ago when Jack Ma taught English and started a website for Alibaba he wouldn’t have guessed that he was actually building the world’s largest internet company with a future market cap of $380 billion, which now has cloud technologies in its crosshairs.
After Jack Ma announced that he would step down and leave his position to Daniel Zhang, the latter said in an interview to CNBC that every business in the future would be powered by the cloud and it would be the main business of Alibaba.
Kaleido Helps Companies Create Blockchain Projects
Kaleido, a subsidiary of ConsenSys blockchain software company, launched a new platform in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The main task of Kaleido is to radically simplify the process of introducing the blockchain for various enterprises and organizations in order to open the modern society with all the advantages of decentralized models and technologies.
Together with AWS, the company developed the Blockchain Business Cloud, an integrated SaaS (Soft-as-a-service) platform for the corporate blockchain. The new platform complements the Blockchain Business Cloud solution, turning it into a first full-stack enterprise platform with a marketplace for plug-and-play services.
