Estonians and e-residents offered free cryptocurrency. Estonian ID-card holders and e-resident who have activated the official address @ eesti.ee can apply for a free cryptocurrency Byteball for the amount of $10. According to the crypto expert Asse Sauga, Byteball is "one of the few newest cryptcurrencies not based on blockchain.

Crypto exchanges reportedly charge millions to list tokens. Cryptocurrency trading platforms may be charging 10 times more to list tokens than what traditional exchanges demand for securities, according to a new report by Autonomous Research. The report says costs for a crypto listing range from $1 million “for a reasonably regarded token, to $3 million for an opportunity to get quick liquidity.”

Ethereum outruns Bitcoin in popularity in India. Ethereum (TIKER: ETH/USD.BITFINEX) becomes more popular than Bitcoin (TIKER: BTC.EXANTE) in India, a recent study by free internet provider Jana found in its latest Mobile Majority report. According to the study over the past five months, Ethereum was the most-searched cryptocurrency at 34.4%, easily outrunning Bitcoin which was at 29.9%, Clearly demonstrating the growth of interest towards this cryptocurrency in the country.

Iran Cyberspace authority urges Telegram ban Over its ICO. Hassan Firouzabadi, the Secretary of Iran's High Council for Cyberspace, has called for a ban of messaging app Telegram within the country, citing concerns that its ICO could pose a risk to the national currency. Meanwhile, Iran’s moderate President Hassan Rouhani has declared his opposition to such a move.

Venezuela to pay Russia with Petro for automotive parts. Venezuela will use its own cryptocurrency dubbed Petro to pay for Russia-made automotive parts and components. The use of Petro in international transactions was on the agenda of the Russian-Venezuelan high-level intergovernmental commission meeting in Caracas on Monday.
