Cryptocurrency Market Falling. The cryptocurrency market is declining on the backdrop of news from the US and Japan. Most cryptocurrencies in the top 100 are falling, the total market capitalization has declined by $ 15 billion to $ 336.8 billion. EOS is the only growing cryptocurrency in the top ten.

Japan to warn Binance to halt operations in the country. France to create legal framework for ICOs. France plans to create a legal framework for raising funds via cryptocurrencies and aims to become a leading center for offerings in Bitcoin-style digital currencies, finance minister Bruno Le Maire wrote in an opinion piece on French website Numerama. An action plan is expected to be presented to the French government in a few weeks and will propose giving French market regulator Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) the option to authorize companies to issue tokens to raise funds, as long as they respect certain criteria to protect investors.

Google working towards using blockchain technology. Google is working on blockchain-related technology that will support its cloud business. The company is reportedly developing its own distributed digital ledger that third parties can use to post and verify transactions. In 2016, Google started a trial for developers testing blockchain services on its cloud. The company is now exploring much more expansive ways to deploy the technology.
