Brick ICO Review
Main page Analytics, Token, Startups, ICO

Nowadays people are trying to implement the popular blockchain technology into every aspect of life and business. This time we are considering the Brick project that will create a real estate platform with its own token. Read about all the features of Brick in our new review.

About the Project

The Brick project sees its mission in realization the real estate platform based on its own high-speed blockchain, which will be working with BRK token. The platform is a real estate portal where everyone can buy or rent property and keep records of the transactions.

Brick plans to launch a portal, that will provide a decentralized real estate market for life. This will allow owners to sign their assets on properties and publish them for sale or rent, and also to rent or buy real estate promptly.

In the beginning, BRK portal will be implemented in Ethereum blockchain to enter the market, and then it will be transferred to the BRK blockchain to provide more complete and reliable conditions for users.

After conducting ICO the project will create a Crypto Village - a cryptographic village in Costa Rica in the Caribbean sea, where BRK token owners can spend their vacation. All services in the Village will be available only by using BRK token.

According to the whitepaper Brick blockchain is a Proof of Stake (PoS) driven blockchain, in which "stakers" confirm transactions. The team will also use a Proof of HODL (PoH) and a Proof of Care (PoC) mechanisms.

In their turn, consumers should create their accounts and pass all required KYC, AML and other requirements (aren’t specified).

Unfortunately, the published whitepaper doesn't disclose more detailed information about the technical part of the project (for example, about the peculiarities of blockchain) or legal issues on registration of real estate transactions and the legal status of Brick.

The roadmap is also not very informative and shows that the main work on the project will be carried out after ICO in 2019.

Overall score: No information - no score

Tokenomics

Brick ICO will be conducted by using the ERC-20 token on Ethereum platform. BRK token will be designed as a token, secured by real estate assets published on the portal. There will be available for purchase 40,000,000 tokens. Investors can buy BRK tokens using bitcoin or ethereum.

All the collected funds will be distributed as follows:

Token sale foresees a soft cap of $1 million and a hard cap of $20 million. BRK tokens will be sold in five stages:

Private sale: $0,4 per token

Advance sale: $0,5 per token

ICO Round 1: $0,65 per token

ICO Round 2: $0,75 per token

ICO Round 3 (final round): $0.9 per token.

Overall score: Not enough

Team and Community

It’s quite a rare situation when a project is so reluctant to talk about the team members and their biographies. Brick counts nine persons and they are all blockchain and IT developers, which is certainly good for such a project, but this is not enough to promote it.

Here they are:

The activity in social networks is low, which isn’t surprising in the absence of Marketing and PR specialists. The advantage of the team can be attributed to the fact that the project has accounts in almost all popular social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Bitcointalk, Reddit, Medium and even Instagram and Youtube.

But the most important net - Github is not involved.

Overall score: could be better

Summary

It is rather difficult to tell and form an opinion on a project that doesn’t want to be told about. We can make a conclusion that the Brick project is at an early stage of development and the team simply hasn’t yet figured out how exactly it will realize the project.

The idea of implementing a transparent blockchain technology into the real estate business isn’t bad, given the high risks of fraud in this area, but it’s completely unclear what the project is guided by and what it wants to offer.
