Save the date, cryptocurrency enthusiasts! Already next month, all those interested in blockchain technology and business startups will have a unique opportunity to gather in Malta’s St. Julians, which will host its first Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference on December 7.
The conference will not only include entrepreneurs, investors, consultants and IT specialists in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, but also involve senior government officials and representatives of the Government of Malta.
Organized by Smile-Expo, the company has already held more than 10 large blockchain events. Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Malta is a part of the conference network around the world, including such cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Tallinn and Stockholm.
The conference will cover such issues as ICO holding, trends of the blockchain industry, development of cryptocurrencies and challenges of legislative regulation in the blockchain field.
These issues will be addressed by speakers of the conference, who are analysts of the cryptocurrency markets; financial and legal experts; blockchain developers; representatives of startups and large companies that use blockchain technology; cryptocurrency and venture investors.
Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference will be opened by the Minister of Finance’s Press Secretary Silvio Schembri speaking about how such kind of events can influence the national strategy of blockchain development in Malta.
Gregory Klumov, the CEO and founder at STASIS, will be among speakers, shedding light on the topic of digital assets as liquid alternatives investments. STASIS is the world’s first true digital currency platform. It introduces stable coin token (SET) that is fully convertible with its fiat equivalent on 1:1 value basis. STASIS uses government support and audit of its fiat reserves to back this claim.
Klumov will speak about the aforementioned SET concept, as well as about regulation of digital assets in terms of global experience, and about tokenization and market perspectives.
During the one-day conference, there will be discussions held on such topics as cryptocurrency industry in Malta; smart contracts and DCO; intellectual property and its major challenges; decentralized economy and its global role.
